Next month, Opal Wines will welcome a guest into our kitchen for a one-night-only supper - an evening shaped by shared plates, seasonal cooking, and wines poured with care.

For this event, the menu will be led by a visiting chef whose approach mirrors our own: ingredient-first, thoughtful, and quietly expressive. Dishes will be designed to be passed around the table rather than plated formally, allowing the evening to unfold at its own pace.

The wine list for the night will be curated alongside the menu, drawing from small producers across England and Europe, with a few Opal Wines house pours woven in. Expect wines chosen for balance and texture - bottles that sit comfortably alongside food rather than competing with it.

Guest chef evenings are about collaboration and conversation. A chance to bring new voices into the space, to explore different ways of cooking and pairing, and to gather around the table with a sense of curiosity.
